Description
Saint Spyridon is one of the most beloved saints of the Orthodox Church, known for his humility, deep faith, and countless miracles. A simple shepherd by origin, he became Bishop of Trimythous and a powerful defender of the true faith.
He took part in the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea (325 A.D.), where he stood firmly against heresy, demonstrating the truth of the Holy Trinity with simplicity and divine grace.
Saint Spyridon is especially revered as a Wonderworker, continuing to perform miracles even after his repose. His presence remains alive among the faithful, offering protection, healing, and guidance.
His feast day is celebrated on December 12.
